SCRUNCHIES

Once associated with childhoods of the 80s and 90s the scrunchie has made a return to the fashion scene over the past few years and is now considered a versatile and stylish hair accessory for any one, of any age!

Unlike traditional hair ties a scrunchie has elastic that is protected on the outside by loose, ruffled fabric. They are typically wider and bulkier than normal hair ties.

Scrunchies are more gentler on your hair due to the soft fabrics used to make them. This fabric acts as a barrier between your hair and the elastic to prevent it getting tangled or causing breakages.

The fabric also stops the elastic from pulling too tight which means it doesn't cause headaches or hair pulling while still being stable enough to hold your hair up during the day.

You will also find the elastic in scrunchies lasts much longer than the traditional elastic band bobbles!

Scrunchies are THE perfect fashion accessory and a great way to show off your personality, add colour to your hair or match an outfit. Some people even wear them as bracelets and sensory aids.


           


I started making scrunchies originally for my own hair as I was fed up of the elastic ties breaking easily or getting tangled in my hair. I watched tutorials as to how to make them and gave them ago. Once I was happy with how well they worked I decided to launch them for my business. I started out with just standard size scrunchies and now have moved onto making mini's, mega's and swim scrunchies.
Why? Because I am passionate about helping people move away from using the elastic band hair ties and protecting their hair with a softer and gentler hair accessory. I am passionate about being able to offer a hair accessory suitable for fine, normal and thick hair! I am also passionate about people adding something unique and quirky to their hair too!

Every single scrunchie you see on my website is handmade by me! I use soft fabric including cotton, polycotton, polyviscose, satin, velvet and fleece. I offer plain colours and ginghams for those who want the traditional designs but I also offer a huge range of other designs including glow in the dark, Christmas, Halloween, florals, animals, etc. I even offer a matching range of scrunchies for Mothers & Daughters!
